Living in Hertfordshire and Saskatchewan, Canada, has gifted me with an appreciation of wildlife in the garden, which inspired a first series of tableware made using gradients of glass powders and hand-drawn images as centrepieces.

A set of four flat bowls (blates, if you will), bordered in a vibrant cobalt blue and each depicting a different, hand-drawn insect local to the area on a semi-transparent white background.

This series showcases the British 7-spot ladybird, the honeybee, damselfly and Luna moth.

All bowls are food-safe and should be hand-washed.

All pieces are individually made and hand-designed, and some variation is the benefit of this.

Contact me if you would like to discuss adding these creatures to your tablescape or if you would like to design your own unique set.
