The beautiful and jewel tones of the day lily of this name are what sprang to mind when developing this piece. Dramatic reds, greens, yellows and browns diffuse this small organic form.
Made using multiple firings in the kiln, the techniques used create a gentle blend of colours, reminiscent of watercolour.
