Hemerocallis Pink Stripes

This piece captures the beauty of the daylily, with its lush pink-and-yellow striped petals.

It was crafted using a glass-flooding technique, where glass is arranged in the kiln to fill gaps as it melts, allowing the colours to flow through the design. Afterwards, the piece was fired two additional times to achieve its final shape. The result is a delicate, ethereal creation that transmits light beautifully.
