Dining with local wildlife - Insects

Living in the picturesque landscapes of Hertfordshire and Saskatchewan, Canada, has fostered my love for garden wildlife, inspiring my first captivating series of tableware. Crafted with vibrant gradients of glass powders and adorned with hand-drawn images, each piece serves as a unique centrepiece.
 
The collection includes a set of four flat bowls or "blates". Each bowl is bordered in vibrant cobalt blue and showcases a different hand-drawn insect native to the area, set against a semi-transparent white background.
This series showcases the British 7-spot ladybird, the honeybee, damselfly and luna moth.
 
All bowls are food-safe but should be hand-washed to maintain their beauty. Each piece is uniquely crafted and designed, allowing for charming variations that add to their appeal.
