This artwork showcases the elegance of the daylily, featuring vibrant pink-and-yellow striped petals.
It was made using a glass-flooding method, where glass is arranged in the kiln to fill spaces as it melts, enabling the colours to blend seamlessly within the design. Afterward, it was fired twice more to finalize its form. The finished piece is a fragile, luminous creation that beautifully transmits light.
